After repeated (failed) attempts to refresh and relaunch the site, The Armchair’s Web is closing shortly.
After nearly four and a half years and 608 posts, I’ve been given the hint. Nobody’s reading the site. I’ll be taking this site offline shortly. All the posts here will be archived and retained for posterity elsewhere. more will be announced nearer the time.
A new website will be launched here (but not mine) in a few weeks.
