Oh dear, it seems former Take That singer Robbie Williams has pledged to “go on strike” in protest at the “behaviour” of the new management of his record label, EMI.
He plans to withold the release of his latest album in his criticism of the label, which was recently taken over by a private equity company. The most talentless singer in the boy band was extremally lucky to get a decent solo career after leaving and has earned a lot of money for his “efforts”, so his decision to “withdraw his labour” will not get him any sympathy he craves. If he doen’t like it at EMI, why doesn’t he leave? It’s as simple as that.
