There is so much news information in the media, newspapers, magazines, TV and the internet, but most of it turn out to be mostly useless and biased.
“The Armchair News Blog” will be like most of these other news comment outlets, and more. The blog will not pretend that it will stand out from the rest. It will not seek publicity just for the sake of it. Basically, it is a personal rant on current news events.
The problem with many of these so-called news and political blogs is that many of their authors tend to take themselves TOO seriously, and play up their own self-importance. There is less chance of that here. The blog will never, ever, claim to be important.
Postings on the blog will be split within three catagories: Current Affairs, Sport, and Media. More may be added if the need arises.
The Armchair’s politics are mainly centre-left, but sometimes agrees- and disagrees- with a wide range of public views.
Even if you log on here, and don’t like it, then fine, that’s no problem… and The Armchair probably will not care. However, if you want your news to be slightly different and put into a language you will understand… we hope to oblige. Happy reading…
