Man Utd footballer in £80million transfer

Manchester United have accepted a bid from Real Madrid for their player Cristiano Ronaldo.

EIGHTY MILLION! He’s a great player, and will be rewarded financially by the deal, but he’s simply not worth that much. It’s ridiculous that some largers clubs can ‘flash the cash’ to get their man while there are others who are suffering financially or facing extinction. Surely it is time for football to follow the example of other sports and introduce a salary cap.
